After a ridiculously long absence from blogging, I'm finally back! I guess I can't promise that I'll be a regular blogger, can I?! I've had a little play around with my layout to try and freshen up things up a little, please let me know what you think! Things around here have been a little crazy as of late, with a house move and lots of different work on the go.. I finally had a day off yesterday! My dad took me to Harlow Gardens in Harrogate, which if you are ever in the area, or are local yourself, if well worth a visit if you like flowers and nice gardens.

I'm a little old lady at heart and I love wandering around them with my camera. Plus lunch at Bettys afterwards was pretty bloody tasty.

It is most definitely that time of year again, finally! Mince pies, Slade, advent calendars. I love it! Although I've been super busy recently (not complaining, I'm just getting my excuses in early) and I haven't had enough time to make lots of nice festive treats for you all.. I haven't even made any proper cards, shocking! So I hope this festive giveaway can make up for it.

Hello everyone!

Its been one massive snow day here in the UK today - now I'm warming my toes up and drinking a cuppa I thought I'd do a blog post, I haven't for ages!

This is a piece for the new Inkygoodness show, "Dreamboat" starting very very soon in Bristol. You can find out some more details here. If you're in or around it should be well worth a look. There are some really amazing artists involved!

The theme is "Dreamboat" and basically this is my dream band. Bit of a tenuous link I know but whatev's. I wanted to draw a cloud headed boy with a guitar, ok!

Well, hello! Long time no.. Post. I thought I'd write quickly about a craft fair I'm going to be part of. If you're around Leeds on Sunday 7th November then get yourself to the Corn Exchange and visit the Reet Sweet craft fair where I'll be having a stall among other awesome crafters / designers / cool people. I just realised I hadn't posted my piece I made for the Lyrics & Type Exhibition currently taking place at the East Gallery, London (See my blog post with the details here) I'm very proud of it! I went down to London last week to have a look at all the work in screenprinted glory. Seriously.. If you're in London please check the exhibtion out, theres some gorgeous work up. If you feel like buying a (very limited edition 30 prints per artist) print then you can do so here. If you buy one of mine.. Well, I'll love you forever and ever.

Thank you for following me :) He's a little gardening-based illustration whats been in my mind for a while. I still think theres something missing (maybe I need something else in the background?) Oh well! Gardening is something I've always wanted to get into. The lack of having a garden has always held me back though.. Guerilla Gardening maybe? Do any of you garden?

Two posts in one day.. I'm really pushing the blogging - boat out! Still, I need to get in the blogging habit don't I? Maybe compulsive posting will work for me. Anyway, yeah.. I won a competition. Me! I am usually terminally unlucky when it comes to any kind of contest or coming first in anything. My work will be on the front (and back) of the new Pica Pica Magazine - a new magazine celebrating British craftiness. Now I'm usually fussy about entering design competitions (ethics an' all that) But this one was too lovely to pass up entering. I guess it's a good job I did, too :)
