It is most definitely that time of year again, finally! Mince pies, Slade, advent calendars. I love it! Although I've been super busy recently (not complaining, I'm just getting my excuses in early) and I haven't had enough time to make lots of nice festive treats for you all.. I haven't even made any proper cards, shocking! So I hope this festive giveaway can make up for it.- What can you win? Any THREE A4 prints from my Folksy store! Yay. Don't see what you like there? The best thing is getting to be with people you love and getting that warm cosy feeling inside! I also love going for a walk on Christmas day with my husband and being all wrapped up!

ReplyDeleteI think my favourite thing about Christmas, is the thought of spending the day with family, with memories of childhood Christmases, all of us snuggled up watching a movie, surrounded by the magic of Christmas. Totally blessed, memories in the making.
ReplyDeleteThe best thing about Christmas is seeing my kids faces in the morning, I go the whole hog with flour footprints on the stairs, I also got married on the 20TH December so its a very special time of year for us all.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about the holiday season is my family's tradition that we create a handmade item for each person in the family and then we exchange them on Christmas eve! But of course the best part of all is Jesus!
ReplyDeleteI love all the relax I can get after crafting for charity, selling my crafts for charity, choosing presents, shopping for presents (including mine – thanks to my lovely lazy husband), wrapping presents, home and tree decorating, baking, making food, going to night Mass, kissing everybody there a Merry Christmas, SMSing everybody else a Merry Christmas, kissing family and friends hello, unwrapping presents, going oooooh and aaaaaah, sitting for lunch, eating, eating, eating (we're in Italy after all), making coffee, chatting, kissing friends and family goodbye, tidying up, taking my exhausted kid to bed. I love all the relax I can get after ALL this!

favorite thing from this christmassy time? well, I guess the excessive amounts of cinnamon products that appear on the shelves... and mulled wine of course! (though I have yet to have my first sip of the year.. sad face).

ReplyDeleteLet's see, the thing I love most about the festive season must be the fact that us Dutchies get to celebrate a generous two December events: besides good old xmas we also celebrate Sinterklaas on December 5 which is almost the same as Christmas...but with a different dude :P

Well regardless on whats happening around everywhere, the best thing is to spend time with the family/friends you love. I dont care much for the presents. (although a damn good christmas lunch is a winner for me) The company is what is best.
